Marshmallow (Althaea officinalis)
Marshmallow is a mucilaginous herb that has been used as a folk remedy for thousands of years to treat digestive, respiratory, and skin conditions. The root powder has the potential to treat a wide range of digestive conditions, including heartburn, and intestinal issues

Slippery elm (Ulmus fulva)
Slippery elm has been used in herbal remedies in North America for centuries. It has long been in healing ointment for wounds, boils, ulcers, burns, and skin inflammation. Taken orally it is used to relieve diarrhea, and gut problems by creating a temporary mucus-like lining.
Slippery elm is also high in antioxidants that help relieve inflammatory bowel conditions. When mixed with water it coats and soothes the mouth, throat, stomach, and intestines. Slippery elm causes increased mucus production that may protect the gastrointestinal tract against ulcers and excess acidity.
Licorice root (Glycyrrhiza glabra)
